She was also invited to join the PSU Book Publishing Advisory Board ...but had to pass due to personal events including giving birth to her son and starting a new job. Just can't have it all.
Keely gravitates toward powerful narrative nonfiction and literary fiction with a cultural identity bent, as well as strong debut works written by underrepresented/marginalized voices. She also has a soft spot for YA.
She currently lives in Portland, OR with her husband, her dog, and her two kiddos. Keely is a Korean adoptee coming out of the fog. Also - she's worked remotely for 11+ years. It can be done.
